Reminder: All coaching clinics and online modules must be COMPLETED by December 31st each year.

This is YOUR responsibility. Not the organizations.

Coaches need to: Register for USA Hockey as a Coach and Coaching Clinic Level you need, Background Check, SafeSport Training, and Disabled Hockey Modules.

The following is an excerpt taken directly from USA Hockey's Coaching requirements PDF.

Note 2:

The head coach and all assistant coaches of each disabled hockey team must complete the required CEP registration

and proper level of certification. Those volunteers or employees who assist with helping disabled hockey teams

(i.e. interpreters, pushers, on-ice mentors, etc.) must be properly registered with USA Hockey but are not required

to attend a CEP clinic and otherwise comply with these rules and regulations.

USA Hockey Coaching Clinics

Click on the following link to go directly to USA Hockey's coaching clinic list. Here you can search for local clinics and register for the clinic. The list of classes is usually made available by the last week of August or the first week of September. These classes are limited and usually fill up quickly so when they become available, sign up ASAP.

USA Hockey Age Specific Onine Modules

Click on the following link to go directly to USA Hockey's online modules. The module that is required is the Disabled Module. This link will allow you to sign up for the module and to log back in to continue the module.

NYSAHA Screening

Click on the link to go to the New York State Amateur Hockey Association screening page. Go to this page and click on the screening policy tab to the right. You will then be abe to click on the screening check list, click on the instructions to do the self screening process and also do the self screening processs.
