*Limited number of pushers available, if a player needs a pusher they should make an arrangement beforehand – either finding someone or arranging with a coach*

  • 9/30 11:55am-1:15pm Cornerstone in Lockport
  • 10/7 4:00-5:50pm Buffalo State
  • 10/14 11:55am-1:15pm Cornerstone in Lockport
  • 10/28 11:55am-1:15pm Cornerstone in Lockport
  • 11/3-11/5 Cruisers Cup

Release more dates once OSHA game schedule is finalized, which currently working on.

Serofino “Sam” Giambattista owner operator of Seraphim Personal Training will be offering strength and conditioning clinics to Buffalo Sabres Sled Hockey Players.

The purpose of this survey is to gauge interest in participating in hour long strength and conditioning clinics. The cost of the clinics will be the player’s responsibility and the rate will depend on how many players participate.

Sam has been working with Val Siegmann (defensemen for the intermediate non contact team)for over 5 years. Val has spastic diplegia cerebral palsy and has seen increased flexibility, stamina and strength since training with Sam.

About Sam: Sam has over 24 years experience in the health and fitness industry. He is a graduate of The College at Brockport SUNY with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology. In addition to being a Certified Personal Trainer and Cancer Exercise Specialist, he has extensive training in combatives. This includes  holding a Brown Belt  in Ju Jitsu ,  amateur boxing experience, and other mixed combatives.  Sam is also experienced with Cognitive Fitness Training  for people suffering from symptoms brought on by Parkinson's disease. No matter what an individual’s challenges are, Sam believes and proves that “anyone can train like an athlete.”

2023-24 Registration

Registration for the 2023-24 season is here. Upcoming season cost will be $150, same as last season. Please review 5 steps below to complete everything you need to hit the ice in September.
First practice is September 16th 11:50am -1:15pm at cornerstone arena in Lockport . 
  1. Register for USA Hockey 
    1. https://membership.usahockey.com/
  2. Fill out Registration forms (BSSH registration, code of conduct, & consent to treat
    1. include USA hockey number on BSSH registration form 
  3. Mail registration forms and check to PO Box 113 Lockport, NY 14095
  4. Complete Background Screening every two years

  5. Complete Safesport every year
    1. https://www.usahockey.com/safesporttraining
    2. Players, Coaches, Pushers, Volunteers if you are an adult and have a minor player under 18 on your team
    3. Waiver to be exempt from Safesport click here. Turn in to the P.O. Box timely, the exemptions must be submitted by Mason to USA Hockey which adds time to the approval

Due to insurance regulations and USA Hockey compliance no player/coach/volunteer/pusher will be allowed to enter the ice without all registration criteria being met.  The criteria is as follows:
  • Buffalo Sabres Sled Hockey Registration Form submitted 
  • USA Hockey registration completed (w/number included on the BSSH registration form)
  • Background checks updated (every other year) 
  • Safesport modules completed 
  • Payment received (players only)
All coaches will receive an email on Thursday of each week listing the players that have completed their registration.  If your name is not on the list, you will be unable to play with the team at the practice or game.

Meat Raffle October 20th

Meat Raffle will be October 20, 2023 at the Fraternal Order of  Eagles (4569 Broadway, Depew, NY 14043). Admission will be $8 and doors open at 6pm, first spin starts at 7pm. For Tickets please contact Matt Murray at mattmurray44@gmail.com. 

Beer, Wine, & Pop will be provided. Encouraged to bring your own snacks. Please no outside alcohol. Will be a Door Prize, 50/50, and large item raffles.
