Coaching Update:

Virtual Clinics
As states and rinks begin to reopen throughout the country, the USA Hockey Coaching Education Program is rolling out new tools and opportunities for coaches to continue their development and prepare for the 2020-21 season safely.
Since every district and state is unique and evolving daily due to the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual clinics are now being made available for all members until in-person clinics can resume, along with the new 'option to use a Temporary Card for the 2020-21 season.
With the uncertainty surrounding rules for in-person gatherings in New York and around the country, the CEP is offering online virtual clinics. Clinics have already been conducted, and more clinics are now posted.

Coaches can register for a clinic at usahockey.com/coachingclinics

The schedule for our NY virtual clinics is posted below:
September 29-Oct. 1 – Bronze Goalie coach Clinic
October 5-7 – Level 2
October 19 -21 - Level 1
October 26 28 – Level 1
November 2-4 – Level 3
November 16-18 – Level 4
November 23-24 – Level 1
November 30 – December 2 – Level 1
Temporary Card Available Until December 31st

In addition to these virtual clinics, USA Hockey’s CEP is offering a Covid Temporary Card that is available for all coaches. This Temporary Card will allow each coach to have the proper level of certification for the 2020-21 season without attending a clinic. This option is available now through December 31st. Click link below to register for the Temporary Card online, complete it, and submit it to the USA Hockey national office.
